Using GTA 6 Server Control Panel in practice
Your first login to the control panel
The dashboard shows server status, player count, CPU and RAM usage, and recent console output. The sidebar handles files, console, database, mods, backups, and settings. If you are brand new, start with console to see live output and mods to install your framework.
Pair this with our GTA 6 server setup guide and most people are running within 10 minutes of checkout. Pick a plan on the GTA 6 hosting plans page and you are good.
Diagnosing why the server feels slow
Open the resource profiler. It ranks every loaded resource by tick time. Anything over 2 ms is a candidate for optimization. Open the resource files, look at the main tick loop, cache whatever you can. This is the single biggest performance lever on most GTA 6 roleplay servers. More detail on the GTA 6 server performance page if you want to go deep.
Restoring a backup without panic
Go to the backup manager, pick a timestamp, choose full or granular restore. Granular lets you restore specific files or database tables. Full restores take 30 to 90 seconds depending on server size. Players auto-reconnect when it is done.
